Do we really need all this plastic?

Richard John Seymour captured the oversupply overwhelm at Yuwi international trade center in China. 70,000 vendors crammed in connected warehouses sell more plastic than we need or demand. If certain color dyes make a plastic less recyclable, why should we be dying plastic at all? If plastic bottle caps sit for hundreds of years in a landfill, why are we throwing them away after a single use?
